DINI VIRSALADZE – PIANO SOLO

Dini Virsaladze comes from a well-known Georgian music family. She graduated from the conservatory in Tbilisi in the piano and organ class.  She began her career as a pianist and harpsichordist in the Tbilisi Chamber Orchestra under Vadim Shubladze. From 1993, she devoted herself to jazz, immediately winning awards (Jazz Festival in Novosibirsk) and recognition of the audience and the music community. From 2003, she played in the Tbilisi Big Band under the direction of Givi Gachechiladze, winning laurels at the Monte Carlo International Jazz Awards (2006), where her play and commitment to jazz promotion were honored. D ini Virsaladze has been performing solo for years and with his trio around the world (including Germany, France, USA, India, Switzerland ...), she is a valued composerand lectures at the conservatory in Tbilisi. At the concert, we will hear jazz standards, original compositions and jazz interpretations of Georgian folk.
